On the 5^th November B.W.I Falcon’s team played Lady Banks a team in a school football team match. We didn’t do any warm ups to start the game. We just went straight into the game. We wanted to win this game a lot. The referee blew the whistle for the start of the game. We started well creating a few chances and getting a few corners. Then Tommy Hunt run at the defenders and then chipped the ball over to Connor and Connor scored. It was a brilliant goal from our team. We didn’t let them back into the game we just kept attacking. We then had another attack from our team as I ran up down the middle of the pitch and then passed it to Charlie who had a one on one with the goalie and shot it into the bottom corner for a 2-0 lead going into half-time. It was straight back into the second half. They now started to create a few more chances. They then got a corner, which was low and it missed our front man and rebounded off Stephanie and hit one of there players and went into the back of the net. They had now got bundles of confidence as they were attacking a lot more. Then the goalie kicked the ball over our defence and one of there players was running at goal going to score so I tackled him but it was a penalty. They scored the penalty and there was nothing our goalie could have done about it. The game finished 2-2.

Stephanie, Harvey, Charlie , Simeon, myself as captain, Tommy Hunt, Mark Reynolds, Connor Nicholas ,Aaron Luffman and Dylan.

On the 15^th of October B.W.I Falcons played Ruislip Gardens ‘A’ team in a school football team match. B.W.I really wanted to win this game considering we had lost our last match .We started well keeping the ball moving about and getting a few shots off. We had quite a few corners and we were causing havoc in the box. Before long we got another corner which Thomas Lynes took and Aaron Luffman volleyed the ball into the back of the net for a 1-0 lead. We needed to keep this 1-0 lead or expand on it, but that would be quite hard. We kept on creating chances but could not finish them off. We then got another chance as Thomas Lynes shot and it got a massive deflection and went into the top left hand corner for a 2-0 lead going into half-time. Even though we were 2-0 up we still needed to attack and defend as we did in the first half. The referee blew the whistle again for the start of the second half. There was a back pass to Neville our goalie and he picked it up so that was an indirect free kick. We all made a wall and there was a gap at our near post and they shot it at the near post and Neville made a brilliant save. We then went on the attack again and the ball came out to Aaron and he did and excellent shot and it went into the top right hand corner (3-0). The referee then blew the whistle for the end of the game .We won this game very easily because of our excellent performances all round .We would like to thank Mr Lavender for organising the game.
