Year 6
Circus Skills
This terms Creative Curriculum theme is 'Let me Entertain you', and the children in Year 6 have enjoyed learning all the subjects that this title emcompasses.

We had a Circus Skills group that came into our school to teach the Year 6 children their plate spinning skills. So Year 6 parents beware! If your best china goes missing it could be your children practising their new skills!!!!
PGL 2009
In October 2009 Year 6 visited Marchants Hill for their annual residential journey. PGL provides activity holidays for school children and have many sites around the United Kingdom. These holidays give children the opportunity to participate in many activities that they would not usually have the chance to take part in. Below are some photographs of our Year 6 children having a wonderful time.

All the children are enjoying their creative curriculum topic of World War II. They have two trips planned, one to the Imperial War Museum and one to the Cabinet War rooms. Both of these trips will consolidate their learning about the War and its effects on the population of this time. This topic covers aspects of PSHCE, History and Geography into the curriculum and enables the children to have an all round vision of the times of World War two.

The children also learned about the Jarrow march and the resons behind their crusade.
